Types of Supported Employment Services:
Supported Employment Initial – 1915(i)
Laying the Groundwork for Success
This service focuses on pre-employment planning and job development. We work with individuals to explore their strengths, interests, and career goals, while helping them prepare for job searches and connect with potential employers.
Services may include:
1. Vocational assessments
2. Resume and interview preparation
3. Job matching and placement assistance
4. Soft skills training and workplace readiness
5 Collaboration with vocational rehab and other support systems
Supported Employment Services
Job Coaching and On-the-Job Support
Once employment is secured, we offer direct, individualized support to help individuals adapt to their new roles. Our team provides on-the-job coaching, skill reinforcement, and employer collaboration to ensure long-term success and satisfaction.
Services may include:
1. Job coaching and task support
2. Communication and workplace behavior coaching
3. Assistance with accommodations and problem-solving
4. Support with transportation or scheduling needs
5. Monitoring progress and ongoing support plans
Maintenance – Individual Supported Employment
Sustaining Success in the Workplace
This service offers long-term follow-up and support to help individuals maintain stable employment. It’s designed for individuals who are mostly independent on the job but benefit from periodic check-ins or as-needed assistance to continue thriving in their roles.
Services may include:
1. Regular follow-up meetings with the individual and employer
2. Ongoing skill development and support as responsibilities grow
3. Problem-solving for new challenges in the workplace
4. Advocacy and adjustments to ensure job retention
